Araştırma Makalesi

The purpose of Electronic Journal of Geometry (IEJG) is the advancement of mathematics. Editors and referees evaluate submitted papers strictly on the basis of scientific merit, without regard to authors' nationality, country of residence, institutional affiliation, gender, and political views.

IEJG is devoted to the high quality publication of current research developments in the fields of geometry, and in all interdisciplinary areas in mathematics which use geometric methods and investigate geometrical structures.

Preparation of Manuscripts

International Electronic Journal of Geometry (IEJG)  devoted to the high quality publication of current research developments in the fields of geometry, and in all interdisciplinary areas in mathematics which use geometric methods and investigate geometrical structures. Requirements for acceptance of papers include originality, scientific significance and clarity of presentation.

Manuscript Submission

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out.

The publisher  will  not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Permissions

Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

Online Submission

Please follow the hyperlink “Submit a Manuscript ” on the right and upload all of your manuscript files following the instructions given on the screen.

Copyright

By submitting a manuscript, the authors agree that the copyright for their article is transferred to the publisher, if and when, the paper is accepted for publication.

No Charge

There is no publication fee and  no charge for submitting or processing a manuscript to IEJG. Also there is no charge for downloading papers from IEJG web site.

Formatting Requirements

All manuscripts should contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript, for example Abstract, Keywords, Classification Codes, Introduction, Results, Conclusions and References.

Article structure

You are recommended to use the template of the International Electronic Journal of Geometry (IEJG) available from template, when preparing your manuscript; this will ensure that your article satisfies the journal’s style requirements.

Figures

Please ensure that the figures included in the single file are placed next to the relevant text in the manuscript. Figures need to be in EPS or PDF format and uploaded when submitting the article.

Figure captions

Ensure that each illustration (figure) has a caption. A caption should comprise a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration.

Essential title page information:

Title. Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems;

Author names and affiliations Provide the full postal address of each author’s affiliation, including the country name and, if available, the e-mail address of each author;

Corresponding author. Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing, publication, and post-publication. Contact details must be kept up to date by the corresponding author.

ORCID ID of all authors must be written.

Abstract

A concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is often presented separately from the article, so it must be able to stand alone.

Keywords

Provide a maximum of 6 keywords. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes.

Classification Codes

Please provide classification codes as per the standard AMS codes (2020 Mathematics Subject Classification (MSC2020)). A full list and information for these can be found at https://mathscinet.ams.org/msnhtml/msc2020.pdf

.

Acknowledgements

Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references and do not, therefore, include them on the title page, as a footnote to the title or otherwise. List here those individuals who provided help during the research (e.g., providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.). This section should not be numbered.

Tables

Please submit tables as editable text and not as images. Tables can be placed either next to the relevant text in the article, or on separate page(s) at the end. Number tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text and place any table notes below the table body. Please ensure that each table has a caption.

References

General Considerations Regarding References

The author is responsible for the accuracy of the references. All listed references must be cited in the text.

Articles which have been accepted for publication should be listed with the expected year of publication (if known) and name of the journal. In place of volume and page numbers, add (in press) at the end.

Reference Style and Format

The list of references at the end is arranged in numerical order. Include the DOI number if one exists. Citations in the text should be identified by appropriate numbers in square brackets, and consecutive references should be concatenated (e.g. [7, 12-15]). The names of all authors should be listed. References by the same author or group of authors should be listed in chronological order.

References should be styled as follows, with correct punctuation:

Ethics and malpractice statements of International Electronic Journal of Geometry (IEJG) are based on COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. For all parties involved in the process of publishing (Authors, Editorial Board, and Reviewers), it is necessary to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior.

The journal may use plagiarism detection service to screen the submissions.

In cases of alleged or proven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication or plagiarism the publisher, in close collaboration with the editors, will take all appropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the article in question. This includes the prompt publication of an erratum or, in the most severe cases, the complete retraction of the affected work.

Editors' Responsibilities

Editor should make decision on which the manuscripts submitted to the journal will be published and without interference from the journal owner/publisher. Editors´ decision to accept or reject a manuscript for publication should be based only on the paper´s importance, originality and clarity, and the study´s relevance to the aim of journal.

The editor will evaluate manuscripts without regard to the authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.

Editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher. Editors will ensure that material submitted remains confidential while under review.

Editors should have systems to ensure that peer reviewers’ identities are protected unless they use an open review system that is declared to authors and reviewers.

The editor should take reasonably responsive measures when ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted manuscript or published paper, in conjunction with the publisher.

Editors should provide guidance to authors and reviewers on everything that is expected of them.

Reviewer's Responsibilities

Peer review assists the editor in making editorial decisions and, through the editorial communication with the author, may also assist the author in improving the manuscript.

Reviewers must objectively evaluate the manuscripts based only on their originality, significance and relevance to the domains of the journal. Review of submitted manuscripts must be done objectively and the reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.

Reviewers must bring to the attention of the Editor Board any information that may be a reason to reject publication of a manuscript.

In the event that a reviewer feels it is not possible for him/her to complete review of manuscript within stipulated time then this information must be communicated to the editor, so that the manuscript could be sent to an alternative reviewer.

Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inacceptable. Referees should express their views clearly with appropriate supporting arguments.

Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. Any kind of similarity or overlap between the manuscripts under consideration or with any other published paper of which reviewer has personal knowledge must be immediately brought to the editor's notice.

Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider evaluating manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the submission.

Author's Responsibilities

The authors must ensure that they have written entirely an original work, and if the authors have used the work and/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Authors may submit only their own original research, which has not been previously published in any other journal. Authors may not submit work that is currently under consideration for publication in any other journal. Submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to conception, design, execution or interpretation of the reported study. Others who have made significant contribution must be listed as co-authors.

If at any point of time, the author(s) discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in submitted manuscript, then the error or inaccuracy must be reported to the editor.
